Pierce Community Office of Student Life hosted a movie night, inviting all students to a special screening of A Million Miles Away. The film tells the inspiring true story of José M. Hernández, the first Hispanic American to be chosen for space travel. This event was held in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating resilience, determination, and cultural heritage.
For this project, my role was to design marketing materials to promote Pierce Community Office of Student Life movie night event held on campus. These materials were strategically placed around campus to maximize visibility and engagement.
The main challenge was creating a visually engaging design while adhering to Pierce Community College’s branding standards. The graphic needed to stand out and capture students’ attention as they moved around campus.
To address these challenges, I developed a flexible layout that could be adapted across various marketing platforms provided by the college. This included print flyers, Instagram posts, and digital monitor displays throughout campus, ensuring a cohesive and impactful presence.
